M.I.A finger gesture at the 2012 Super Bowl was not as bad as the news media made it out to be. Yes, it was wrong of her pointing the finger during her performance with Madonna and Nicky Nana, but it happen. From what I have seen, she did it in the heat of the moment in her song. More so it seem she was only trying to make a point as and Artist, a poet, a actor, a teacher or just as and MC in The Hip Hop Music Culture. She really had no one in mind from my prospective trying to hurt. Should she have known better, yes, but overall it does not require the negative attention that the press is giving it. The show was wonderful. Madonna almost falls, but as a professional 55 year old diva, she pulls her performance with flying colors. Great show overall from all who took part in it construction and delivery. Will I go out to see and M.I. A. show or miss Nicky Nana? No I don’t think so, but will jump to see Madonna again. nc
